Morphology regulation and element doping are effective means to improving the photocatalytic performance of graphite-phase carbon nitride (g-C3N4). In this article, using melamine zinc chloride as raw materials, a novel kind Zn/Cl-doped hollow microtubular g-C3N4 (Zn-HT-CN) by hydrothermal method was developed. The structure morphology Zn-HT-CN reference samples were characterized X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), photoelectron (XPS), etc. Zn/Cl narrowed bandgap width g-C3N4, well inhibiting recombination photogenerated holes. Compared with pure microtube, showed excellent catalytic for photodegradation tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH) under irradiation visible light. rate TCH reached 94.41% in 40 min, which about two times high that catalyzed microtube. Moreover, it also superior microtube doped other typical metal elements. addition, good tolerance environmental pH, efficiency material remained at 78.78% after five cycles.
