It remains a huge challenge to clean leaks of oil and various organic solvents quickly efficiently, especially for special conditions such as high-viscosity oils, corrosion from acid/alkali solutions, high-temperature damage, fire risk. The adsorbents with three-dimensional porous structure excellent resilience have been recognized prospective candidates dealing oil–water separation problems. In this study, solar responsive multifunctional polyurethane foams were successfully fabricated by compounding photothermal hydrophobic components both internal external means. Due the interface adhesion, polydopamine/MXene nanosheet/polyaniline/polydimethylsiloxane (PMPP–PU) prepared introducing PDA/MXene nanoparticles phytic acid (PA)/PANI micronano coatings exhibited high adsorption capacity up 61.4 g/g different kinds low-viscosity solvents. Driven 1 kW/m2 illumination intensity, PMPP–PU increased 29.4 g/g, realizing 203% rise compared pure PU. Also, modified achieved rapid extrusion cyclic adsorbed solvents, showed an efficiency close 90% after 20 cycles. Besides, adsorbent remained persistent maintained stable hydrophobicity under extreme environmental not significantly damaged even attack. This work presents competitive strategy recovery oils.

Abstract Solar energy is a primary form of renewable energy, and photothermal conversion direct process with tunable efficiency. Among various kinds materials, porous organic polymers (POP) are widely investigated owing to their controllable molecular design, tailored structures, good absorption solar light, low thermal conductivity. A variety POP, such as conjugated microporous (CMP), covalent frameworks (COF), hyper‐crosslinked (HCP), intrinsic microporosity (PIM), ionic (PIP), developed applied in applications seawater desalination, latent storage, biomedical fields. In this review, comprehensive overview the recent advances POP for provided. The micro structure characteristics macro morphology designed heat phototherapy photodynamic therapy, drug delivery. Besides, probe into underlying mechanism structural design constructing excellent performance methodicalized. Finally, remaining challenges prospective opportunities future development energy‐driven elucidated.
