Abstract In this study, activated carbons were obtained from grape marc for tetracycline removal wastewater. Activated by subjecting them to pyrolysis at 300, 500, and 700 °C, respectively, the effect of temperature on was investigated. The physicochemical surface properties evaluated SEM, FTIR, XRD, elemental analysis, N 2 adsorption/desorption isothermal, thermal gravimetric (TG) derivative thermogravimetric (DTG), BET area analysis. When areas examined, it found that 4.25 m /g carbon produced 300 44.23 500 °C which showed increased with increasing temperatures. pore volumes synthesized 0.0037 cm 3 /g, 0.023 0.305 temperatures while average size be 8.02 nm, 9.45 10.29 respectively. A better adsorption capacity observed due decrease in oxygen-rich functional groups temperature. It skins can easily treat hazardous wastewater containing its high content groups. also shown study has a higher volume despite low compared studies literature.
