To solve the problem of dye contamination caused by methylene blue (MB), a one-step synthesised nanocellulose (CNF) and polyacrylamide (PAM) gel network was modified using NaOH in this study, prepared samples were analysed for their micromorphology, chemical structure, adsorption-release properties. The findings demonstrated that maximum adsorption capacity CNF-PAM5% 172.08 mg/g, which followed quasi-second-order kinetic model Freundlich model. increased with increase NaOH-modified concentration. However, efficiency could still reach 85% after four cycles, remained intact without signs fragmentation 4 h stirring water impact, attributed to introduction CNF into PAM effectively improve mechanical properties gel. Moreover, toxicity tests showed no significant difference amount cellular activity, even when volume sample up 10-fold. This gel, exhibits low excellent recycling properties, serves reduce environmental impact during process. Furthermore, potential exists utilising gel's blue-releasing (MB) as fungicide fish.
