This article provides an overview of the use layered double hydroxides (LDHs) as effective sorbents in various extraction methods, including column-based solid-phase (SPE), dispersive (DSPE), and magnetic (MSPE), for separation preconcentration inorganic oxyanions chromium, arsenic, selenium. The primary focus is on enhancing analytical performance spectrometric detection techniques, particularly terms sensitivity selectivity when analyzing low concentrations target analytes complex matrices. LDHs, which can be readily prepared structurally modified with substances, offer promising potential development novel methods. When used procedures following careful optimization experimental conditions, developed methods have yielded satisfactory results, documented by studies reviewed this paper. review intended to assist chemists scientific laboratories involved developing new procedures.
