Phosphate ore is the dominating natural resource for production of fertilizers and phosphorous chemical products. Flotation most widely employed technique to enrich apatite remove impurities separation phosphate ore. The flotation reagents play an important role in this efficient ores. In last few decades, great progress has been achieved However, a critical review on theme rarely reported recent years. Thus, goal paper critically analyze published literature ores, mainly ranging from 2010 2024, including regulators, depressors, collectors, frothers. Additionally, interaction mechanisms between mineral surfaces were analyzed. It concluded that sulfuric acids its derivatives leading depression minerals. Highly selective biobased depressants have become potential carbonate inhibitors. derivatization synthesis multi-functional compounds identifying frothers are main development trends collectors Overall, high-quality concentrate with 31.05% grade 98.21% recovery at pH 5 was using lecithin as ecofriendly amphoteric collector acid depressor when feed contained 24.49% P2O5, which superior other indexes similar This will help researchers document knowledge gaps provide reference green beneficiation ores future.
