In this study, during the efficient preparation of nanofibers using a spherical section free surface electrospinning (SSFSE) device with different sphere radii, formation mechanism and motion characteristics multiple jets were thoroughly investigated through numerical simulation method. The mechanical model was established, key role electric field intensity in defined; addition, relationship between jet initial velocity distribution on solution established. On basis, magnetohydrodynamic introduced, turbulence as well volume fluid combined to numerically simulate SSFSE process. results showed that radius increased, maximum gradually decreased. However, area generated interaction force resulting more obvious outward expansion trajectory. Therefore, optimal 75 mm determined. Finally, verified by experiments polymeric low conductivity. This study can play guiding effectively increasing number per unit actual production, thus achieving continuous, uniform, micro-/nanofibers.
