Zn 2+ and Ni are frequently reported in wastewater effluents with concentrations much greater than the permitted limits thus pose a huge threat to living beings. Therefore, researchers gaining focus on removing these metals from water bodies. This study performed two sets of experiments comparative extraction efficiencies samples using supported liquid membrane (SLM), carrier, solvent. For this purpose, chloride salts both were used movement ions acidic feed phase basic strip through SLM equilibrated cyclohexylamine, which acts as carrier for transportation . The conditions optimized while studying four different parameters maximize transport stripping phase. However, acid concentration was kept constant at 1 M all experiments. Separate carried out ions. distribution coefficient, permeability flux, calculated against parameters. A analysis found that have tendency move under similar set Extraction time reveals approximately 87% moved end 120 th min experiment. In contrast, only 72% could conditions. Current studies indicate methodologies based can effectively remove samples.
