Detailed parametric analysis and measurements are required to reduce building energy usage while maintaining acceptable thermal conditions. This research suggested a system that combines Building Information Modeling (BIM), machine learning, the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA II) investigate impact of factors on find optimal design. A plugin is developed receive sensor data export all necessary information from BIM MSSQL Excel. The model was imported IDA Indoor Climate Energy (IDA ICE) execute an consumption simulation then pairwise test produce sample set. To study set develop prediction between usage, 11 learning algorithms used. best algorithm Group Least Square Support Vector Machine (GLSSVM), later employed in NSGA II as fitness function using Dynamo software. An multi-objective optimization designed optimize interior comfort (measured by predicted percentage dissatisfied (PPD)). Pareto front calculated, optimum point approach used combination envelope characteristics, HVAC setpoints, shading parameters, lighting, air infiltration. feasibility effectiveness framework demonstrated case upper secondary school Norway; results show that: (1) GLSSVM has unique capacity forecast use with high accuracy: R2 0.99, RMSE 1.2, MSE 1.44, MAE 0.89; (2) may be successfully improved GLSSVM-NSGA hybrid technique, which reduces 37.5% increases 33.5%, respectively.

Due to global climate change and energy market turmoil, the world is seriously pushing switch renewable diversifying sources. The building sector consumes an amount of energy, accounting for approximately 40 % energy. Therefore, concept zero-energy buildings has become more realistic than before. This study reveals latest developments in through a comprehensive literature review past ten years. Emphasis been placed on buildings' heating, ventilation, cooling systems, as they constitute most important part demand. Also, role negative resulting from improved envelope design compatible with surrounding environment, thermal insulation materials, phase vegetation cover, etc. A was also made significant technologies, which include solar installations, wind turbines, geothermal heat exchangers. showed that three main axes must be achieved reach energy-free building: Reducing waste energy-conserving improving HVAC systems. Raising efficiency performance facilities by using hybrid systems ability flexibility respond changing These are integrated approach achieving ZEBs; none can neglected. provides references researchers, institutions, decision-makers unify efforts achieve ZEBs. It aims attract attention focus research raising questions identifying gaps future address.

It has been challenging for designers to identify the appropriate design parameters that would reduce building energy consumption while achieving thermal comfort occupants. This study aims determine most important architectural (ABDPs) can increase and use in educational buildings. The effect of 15 ABDPs an Australian lecture theatre their variabilities on students’ each parameter were analysed using Monte Carlo (MC) techniques. Two thousand simulations every input performed based selected distribution Latin hypercube sampling (LHS) technique. Sensitivity analyses (SA) uncertainty (UA) used assess terms discomfort hours consumption. found ABDPs, such as cooling set-point temperatures roof construction, significantly operative temperature by up 14.2% 20.0%, respectively. Consequently, these reductions could shorten hours, thereby reducing 43.7% 41.0%, findings this enable which have a substantial impact
