Abstract This study investigated the determinants of green energy adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Primary data was obtained from 320 participants through a well-structured questionnaire. The analyzed using descriptive inferential statistics. Logistic regression analysis employed to ascertain impact solar usage by SMEs, while one-sample t-test utilized examine hypothesis that there no substantial disparity expenditure between agricultural non-agricultural SMEs research region. findings indicated were highly examined (72.2%) compared (27.8%). Most had completed secondary school, some OND/NCE (23.1%) B.Sc./HND (20.6%) degrees. entrepreneurs 7.1 years business experience earned an average monthly salary N92,206.30. utilization predominant approach (71.9%) for alleviating environmental effects greenhouse emissions. Three significant factors influenced owners estimated power costs (-6.211E-005), cost wiring firm's production environment (1.934E-005), BEDC service support rating (1.806). experienced abnormally high rate inaccurate billing (90%) distribution company (BEDC) unreliable supply (89%) with less than 4 hours each day. results indicate difference investment two groups, at level significance 1%. suggests State government should actively stimulate growth promoting collaboration, increasing awareness, fostering public-private partnerships.

Sustainable development purposes require strong emphasis on green food promotion as an essential component. The decision-making process of Generation X members toward consumption creates important effects both personal health and environmental sustainability social programs economic stability. This research examines self-identity values predictors intentions with analysis attitude relevant intermediate factors that include standards well perceived control over behavior. researcher gathered data through convenience sampling from 480 Chinese participants. Statistical followed the pretest to perform assessments for reliability validity testing. Structural equation modeling (SEM) processed while validating confirmatory factor path Data demonstrates directly drive intentions. These operate two key pathways: (1) shaping positive attitudes food, (2) reinforcing subjective norms behavioral control. mechanisms collectively promote pro-environmental choices measurable ecological benefits. shows entity positively affects because it strengthens users’ self-belief eco-conscious consumers leading intensified perception behavior enriches TPB (theory planned behavior) by proving respond including environments along capacity living conditions shape generation consumers’ buy food. findings advance sustainable theories revealing generation-specific mechanisms, providing actionable insights designing targeted marketing strategies policy interventions.

ABSTRACT As urbanization accelerates, cities face increasingly significant ecological challenges essential for sustainability. One of the primary manifestations these is imbalance between food, water, and energy resources, often resulting in irrational use land. However, few scholars have reviewed relationship land F‐W‐E nexus. Thus, this paper examines interplay Food‐Water‐Energy nexus using a thematic literature review covering past 9 years (2015–2023). Specifically, 88 relevant articles been identified encoded NVivo software based on structured coding framework that focuses theory (framework), method, indicators, spatial scale, aims, results. The was retrieved keyword searches from Web Science databases. follows systematic four‐step process: defining sub‐questions, conducting PRISMA guidelines, utilizing organization, finally synthesizing discussing findings. findings reveal several key insights: (1) Ecological urban morphology studies are understanding planning patterns. influence agricultural water quality remains ambiguous, discrepancies exist effects land‐use intensity residential density F‐W‐E. (2) There clear lack comprehensive interdisciplinary multi‐objective research theories methods F‐W‐E‐L (Food‐Water‐Energy‐Land use). At same time, implicit consumption beyond geographical boundaries needs attention. (3) Sustainable development goals within system clearly defined goalsover time fail to differentiate across scales. (4) deficiency shared decision‐making post‐policy tracking framework. To address challenges, comprehensive, multi‐scale, approach proposed, integrating multi‐sectoral public participation into planning.

Household energy consumption plays a critical role in the context of global climate change. Utilizing data from 2018 China Social Survey (CGSS), this study empirically examined impact subjective socioeconomic status (SES) on household green behaviors using probit and ordered models. The mechanism influence was further analyzed through mediated effect approach. results found include following: (1) Although proportion households participating policies is similar to those not participating, deeply multiple very low; (2) SES significantly influences both rate depth participation policies; (3) internet usage understanding serve as mediating mechanisms for promotive SES; (4) showed significant heterogeneity its effects different gender education level groups. These findings contribute drivers use decisions provide an important reference governmental policymaking enhance rates degrees participation.
