The included studies consistently reported significant reductions insomnia symptoms following retraining, particularly decreases diary‐derived latency and increases total time. Based on inconclusive but promising findings, research agenda proffered test as insomnia. Large randomised controlled are needed elucidate potential benefits different populations with mechanistic which components underlie seemingly therapeutic effects. Abstract Background Previous studies assessing shift workers’ behaviours have mainly used self-report recall questionnaires, however these measures don’t always account for variations in work schedules. Alternative methods that allow real-time assessments tailored to capture patterns might provide more accurate of physical activity (PA) and sedentary behaviour (SB). Therefore, the aim this study was evaluate feasibility Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA), which provides evaluations PA SB workers. A secondary compare workers non-shift worker responses. Methods Participants ( n = 120; 58% female, mean M age =36.0), included 69 51 After downloading EMA app, received either interval-contingent (SW-T) or standardized prompts (SW-S) over 7–10 days, while (NSW-S) seven days. Prompts were scheduled five times daily, every three hours. The survey asked participants report their current activity, including type, duration, location sitting. Feasibility assessed by analysing recruitment, retention, compliance rates (EMA surveys completed) across SW-T, SW-S, NSW-S groups. Results Approximately 78% invited enrolled, all enrolled completed at least one prompt on 4 out 7 days 10 SW group. Workers who chose not participate reported unwillingness travel meetings 14), others did respond 20). an average 24 per day, each taking less than 30 s complete. Overall, 64% started completed.
