A thermochromic pigment, derived from reaction of ethylenediamine and rhodamine B known as MA-RB, has been successfully developed. This pigment showcases temperature-controlled visible color-transformation properties in both solid solution states. The MA-RB exhibits a notable color change light pink to rose red, triggered by thermal excitation. In its form, also displays behavior, shifting red when exposed light. distinct properties, characterized changes, make it promising material for applications liquid systems. Oxazolidine is a new category of stimuli-chromic compounds that has unique intelligent behaviors such as halochromism, hydrochromism, solvatochromism, and ionochromism, all which have potential applications for designing constructing chemosensors by using functionalized-polymer nanocarriers. Here, the poly(MMA-co-HEMA) based nanoparticles were synthesized emulsion copolymerizing methyl methacrylate (MMA) 2-hydroxyethyl (HEMA) in different copolymer compositions. The modified physically with tertiary amine-functionalized oxazolidine (as an pH-responsive organic dye) to prepare halochromic latex nanoparticles. Investigation optical properties including absorbance emission spectroscopic methods indicates behavior influenced significantly particle size, morphology, concentration hydroxyl groups. To develop detection pH, pH-responsivity aqueous solutions pHs wide range 1–14 studied UV–vis fluorescence spectroscopies, these results confirmed successful photodetection pH fast facile manner. investigation solid-state impregnation latex-coated cellulosic papers having maintained their after incorporation cellulose matrix displayed notable colorimetric fluorimetric pH-responsivity. Hence, paper-based pH-sensors prepared from pH-responsivities showed constructed HEMA above 20 wt % best high resolution, contrast, high-intensity color change change. In addition, used rewritable hydrochromic hand-writing stamp-printing acid base inks, on maximum printability, intensity. This study proposed significant effects polarity functional groups molecules role functionalized polymer carrier its protection toward environmental degradations. These parameters should be considered future studies development pH-sensor papers.
