This study presents the development of an innovative electrochemical sensor for simultaneous detection cadmium (Cd2+) and lead (Pb2+) ions in environmental samples. The is developed based on a composite material zeolite imidazolate framework ZIF-7 polyaniline (PANI), referred to as ZIF-7@PANI, where rapidly synthesized at room temperature used enhance conductivity composite. Characterization via X-ray diffraction (DRX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) confirmed successful synthesis. was applied glassy carbon electrode (GCE) using drop-casting heavy metal ion detection. Experimental parameters—including pH, incubation time, deposited quantity, drying time—were optimized Box–Behnken design. Under optimal conditions, ZIF-7@PANI/GCE demonstrated broad dynamic concentration range (0.002–1 µM Pb2+ 0.02–30 Cd2+), with low limits (2.96 nM 10.6 Cd2+). It also exhibited strong anti-interference properties high recovery rates (85–110%), highlighting its potential real practical applications.
