Timely screening for harmful pathogens is a great challenge in emergencies where traditional culture methods suffer from long assay time and alternative are limited by poor accuracy low robustness. Herein, we present dCas9-mediated colorimetric surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) dual-signal platform (dCas9-CSD) to address this challenge. Strategically, the used dCas9 accurately recognize repetitive sequences amplicons produced loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), forming nucleic acid frameworks that assemble numerous bifunctional gold-platinum (Au@Pt) nanozymes into chains on surface of streptavidin-magnetic beads (SA-MB). The collected Au@Pt converted colorless 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) blue oxidized TMB (oxTMB) via its Pt shell then enhanced signal oxTMB Au core. Therefore, presence

Infections cause concern for mankind, and sometimes their diagnosis may take much time. Owing to its high sensitivity, rapidity, specificity, the immunochromatographic assay (ICA) is used widely diagnose infections. The use of ICA this purpose makes it possible detect dangerous diseases early, prevent progress, strongly reduce treatment cost mortality, increase life expectancy. One promising format involves gold nanoparticles. Here we present principles history infections discuss prospects using nanoparticles in ICA. The prompt species identification from biological samples at a crime scene can rapidly filter out truly valuable biometric information for subsequent personal identification. Meanwhile, early sex determination assist in narrowing the pool of suspects. However, current methods forensic DNA analysis, particularly point-of-care scenarios, are often limited by intricate equipment signal generation and laborious procedure purification. present study introduces novel portable lateral flow biosensor that possesses extraction-free anti-aerosol characteristics on-site sex. bloodstain be directly submitted to loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) analysis both mitochondrial nuclear DNA. incorporation device with gold magnetic nanoparticle probes allows visual interpretation results through colorimetric signals while also preventing interference on result judgment pigments such as hemoglobin. Carryover contamination, which is disharmonious factor LAMP, especially inherent contradiction derived uncapping strategy, has been effectively addressed integration uracil glycosylase without compromising isothermy throughout process. As proof-of-concept experiment, accurately identified within 40 min trace bloodstains amidst significant background targeting cytochrome
