Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a common proinflammatory cytokine and can be adopted as an important biomarker for several diseases including nasopharynx cancer, pancreatitis, infections, cardiovascular. It thus necessary to design effective method monitoring IL-6. Herein, by preparing gold nanoparticles/graphdiyne (Au/GRD) nanohybrid with simple electroless deposition the sensing substrate UiO-66 metal–organic frameworks/ferrocene (UiO/Fc) signaling-amplifier, highly efficient sandwich-type electrochemical immunosensing (SEI) platform was proposed IL-6 determination. The superior electrical properties, easy preparation, high surface area, stability of Au/GRD make it desirable immobilize primary antibody Meanwhile, unique structure beneficial immobilizing Fc probe secondary antibody. By optimizing experimental conditions, current obtained at as-designed SEI increases along increase, related linearity 0.5 pg ml −1 –1200.0 coupled low detection limit 0.2 . expected based on UiO/Fc shows potential applications analysis.
