ZnO/MOx (M = FeIII, CoII,III, NiII, SnIV, InIII, GaIII; [M]/([Zn] + [M]) 15 mol%) nanofiber heterostructures were obtained by co-electrospinning and characterized X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy fluorescence spectroscopy. The sensor properties of ZnO nanofibers studied toward reducing gases CO (20 ppm), methanol acetone oxidizing gas NO2 (1 ppm) in dry air. It was demonstrated that the temperature maximum response is primarily influenced binding energy chemisorbed oxygen with surface modifier's oxides. When detecting NO2, high sensitivity at a low measurement can be achieved concentration free electrons near-surface layer zinc oxide grains, which determined band bending interface difference work function MOx.

Acetone is harmful to the environment and human health. Therefore, research on acetone sensors for its high-efficiency detection necessary. Herein, an α-Fe2O3-TiO2-MXene heterojunction was synthesized using a simple precipitation method, sensitivity towards systematically investigated. The response value of sensor based 50 ppm 24 at 150 °C, which more than one-quarter that pure α-Fe2O3 (5.3). best recovery time were 10 s 6 s, respectively. also showed good stability selectivity. excellent gas mainly attributed formation heterojunctions, improved carrier-transport efficiency specific surface area molecular adsorption.

Gaseous oxygen detection is essential in numerous production and manufacturing sectors. To meet the varying requirements across different fields, techniques that offer a wide range should be developed. In this study, wood-based sensing material was designed using balsa wood as supporting matrix gadolinium hemoporphyrin monomethyl ether (Gd-HMME) oxygen-sensitive indicator. The Gd-HMME exhibits cellular porous structure, which not only facilitates loading of substantial number indicator molecules but also enables rapid interaction between indicators molecules. OP defined ratio phosphorescence intensity oxygen-sensing anaerobic aerobic environment. A linear relationship partial pressure ([O2]) obtained within whole [O2] (0–100 kPa). exhibited excellent resistance to photobleaching, along with response time (3.9 s) recovery (4.4 s). It demonstrated measurement results were influenced by other gaseous components present air. An automatic system developed LabVIEW for practical use, limit determined 0.01 kPa.
