The COVID-19 pandemic and the accompanying containment measures such as physical distancing school closures led to major changes in children's everyday lives. In these patients, the stressful experience of intensive care unit (ICU) hospitalization may aggravate conditions. Our study examines short- and long-term consequences COVID-19 ICU patients. completed self-rating questionnaires Kessler 10 Psychological Distress Scale (K10), Perceived Stress Scale-10 (PSS), Impact Event Revised (IES-R), Post-traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI) were clinically interviewed 1 6 months after discharge. Altered behavioral-psychological symptoms patients' strategies (adaptive vs. maladaptive) for coping stress during coded clinical interviews. Finally, 32% subjects classified as "maladaptive patients," 68% "adaptive patients."
