ABSTRACT The existence of fins on a basin's flat absorber undoubtedly enhances the thermal efficiency and distillate output by increasing exposed surface area water to sunlight. However, issue shading caused hampers productivity distillers. Researchers are currently seeking resolution this problem. current study conducted performance comparison hemispherical solar distillers using copper conical with diameter 4 cm height 2 cm. were also equipped fins‐filled red bricks, which painted black. These placed bottom basin at various spacing intervals (0, 1, cm) depth experimental data showed that values distiller (HSD‐CCF) 6.00, 5.40, 5.00 L/m , while bricks (HSD‐CCF & RB) 7.00, 6.30, 5.80 distances 0, cm, respectively. conventional without (CHSD) achieved peak 4.50 . HSD‐CCF achieves cumulative yields 33.33%, 20.00%, 11.11% when utilizing respectively, compared THSD. sun is enhanced 55.55%, 40.00%, 28.89% (THSD), discovered including packed improves Furthermore, revealed between further reduces shading, hence enhancing performance.
