Water is a valuable yet scarce resource in agriculture. Optimizing crop production relies on irrigation, but within the framework of sustainable agriculture, efforts should prioritize reducing irrigation water usage. Unfortunately, climate change increases plant requirements, consequently heightening need for irrigation. The aim research was to estimate needs asparagus during fern growth period (21 June–31 August) using Blaney–Criddle method. study also aimed determine trends changing and precipitation deficits. Calculations were carried out years 1981–2020 across four provinces central Poland. indicated that varied between 233 mm 242 mm, depending province. Over forty-year period, all displayed an increasing trend needs, with rise 3.1 6.2 per decade. Between 21 June 31 August, rainfall deficits occurred varying intensity normal, medium dry very years. values deficit, calculated as result research, are key importance design, construction, management drip systems plantations

ABSTRACT Based on a spatiotemporal perspective, this study evaluates the agricultural ecology and food security levels of 31 provinces in China from 2013 to 2022 using rank‐sum ratio method. It analyzes trajectory changes through center‐of‐gravity model explores dynamic relationship between two with VAR model. The results show that China's ecosystem has recovered since 2019, 21% increase capability. Geographically, index shows higher values east lower west, while are unevenly distribution across country. Notably, centers gravity located Nanyang, Henan, northwestward shift, indicating advancements northwest region. synergistic enhancement significantly improved stability sustainability, highlighting importance their mutual complementarity. conclusions drawn may offer insights into promoting regional sustainability developing effective policies.
