We

literature
on
risk
resilience
factors
for
research-induced
distress
(RID)
among
qualitative
child
abuse
researchers,
with

by
Lippencott-Joanna
Briggs
Institute
methodology
reviews.

MEDLINE,
ProQuest,
two
researchers
independently
reviewing
title/abstracts
full-text
articles
inclusion,
additional
found
using
citation
searches
of
identified
through
a
perusal
in
key
research
journals.
synthesized
30
unique
studies,
this
synthesis
revealing
that
salutary
RID
outcomes
emanate
from
all
levels
ecology
and,
consequently,
optimal
strategies
primary
secondary
prevention
could
profitably
adopt
multi-systemic
perspective.
Findings
provide
members
academia
detailed
systematic
overview
potential
threats
influences
be
used

inform
development
comprehensive
pre-research
(and
ongoing)
training
programmes
