Abstract Aerosols can influence the size, quantity, and other characteristics of raindrops, subsequently altering precipitation pattern modifying rainfall erosivity (RE). To explore relationship between RE aerosols, this study analyzed spatiotemporal distribution aerosols in Pearl River Basin. Utilizing GPM data from 2001 to 2022, future 100-year prediction data, aerosol investigated potential these indicators. The findings are as follows: (1) exhibited a spatial decreasing southeast northwest, showing declining trend; Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) demonstrated similar trend. (2) AOD displayed highly significant positive correlation, with coordinated within basin, indicated by multi-year average coupling coordination index 0.7054. (3) Over next century, various scenarios remained lower than current negative correlation AOD. (4) particle size emerged most indicator correlated RE, among all indicators, quantity strongest aerosols. (5) for across magnitudes observed heavy rain. This unveils interrelationship providing theoretical basis land managers governments formulate measures aimed at reducing impact erosion on farmland ecosystems.

The concept of gully erosion susceptibility has received more focus in recent years, and the attention been drown by researchers for implementation policy practices. Soil through development is a natural geomorphic process that controlled human activities highly effected environmental quality, ecosystem, resources, agricultural activities; it promotes hazards. So, management key attempt sustainable land use practices to assess monitor soil quality. In this work, try employ model along with strategies its controlling factors Pathro River Basin, India. Authors follow well-accepted machine learning-based boosted regression tree (BRT) assessment urgent within study area. Twelve predisposing were used here map find areas urgently required take robust policy. depicts high prediction capacity strong area under curve (AUC 87.40%). Finally, dynamic nature ecosystem service value (ESVs) sensitivity have examined implementing an elasticity indicator. Badland converted forestland during 2010–2020 manage degradation, but some processes their increasing trend found due unplanned Also, causes erosive agents evaluated fitted function. For basin, forest pivotal both degradation ESVs so, should be managed conserved afforestation programmes. outcome work provides new window makers initiate appropriate dimension about prioritized humid tropics.
