Sustainable soil management through the use of an appropriate tillage system can positively change edaphic parameters. The aim present study was to compare effects that reduced (RT) and conventional (CT) systems have on changes in selected physical chemical properties enzymatic activity various types. included following types: Eutric Fluvisol, Mollic Haplic Chernozem, Luvisol, Regosol, Gleysol, Stagnic Planosol. Soil samples were collected Danubian Lowland Eastern Slovak Lowland. parameters determined samples: texture, pH, hydrolytic acidity sum basic exchangeable cations, contents carbon (TOC), nitrogen (TN), dissolved organic (DOC), activities dehydrogenases (DEH), catalase (CAT), peroxidases (PER), alkaline phosphatase (AlP), acid (AcP), proteases, β-glucosidase (BG). reaction analysed soils, RT CT cultivations alike, ranged from acidic neutral, sorption differed between individual TOC 16.53 42.07 g kg−1 for cultivation 15.51 38.90 tillage. values quality indices correlated with TOC, DOC, TN, as well base cation exchange capacity, degree saturation complex. studied enzymes, but intensity direction these depended type. Based enzyme results, such GMea TEI calculated. proved be a more sensitive indicator than GMea. It shown that, all types regardless system, Gleyosols had most variable properties. For tillage, Luvisol Regosol characterised by greatest uniformity. In general, soils under those simplified
