A multitude of biotic and abiotic stress factors do harm to plants by bringing about diseases inhibiting normal growth development. As a pivotal signaling molecule, salicylic acid (SA) plays crucial roles in plant tolerance responses both stresses, thereby maintaining improving yields under stress. In view this, this paper mainly discusses the role SA stresses plants. regulates expression genes involved defense pathways, thus enhancing immunity. addition, mitigates negative effects acts as molecule induce stress-responsive synthesis stress-related proteins. also improves certain yield-related photosynthetic indexes, crop yield On other hand, with molecules, such jasmonic (JA), auxin, ethylene (ETH), so on, regulating This reviews recent advances SA’s tolerance, provide theoretical references for further studies concerning decryption molecular mechanisms improvement management

Due to their stationary nature, plants are exposed a diverse range of biotic and abiotic stresses, which heavy metal (HM) stress poses one the most detrimental targeting plant processes. HMs instigate overproduction reactive oxygen species (ROS), mitigate adverse effects ROS, induce multiple defence mechanisms. Besides negative implications these molecules play multitude signalling roles in plants, acting as central player complex network cells. One ROS-associated mechanisms is mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade, pathway transduces extracellular stimuli into intracellular responses. Plant MAPKs have been implicated involved response, phytohormone regulation, cell cycle cues. However, influence various on MAPK activation has not well documented. In this review, we address summarise several aspects related HM-induced ROS signalling. Additionally, touch how signals activate cascade downstream transcription factors that responses HMs. Moreover, propose workflow could characterise genes associated with during HM

The use of natural compounds as an alternative to synthetic molecules has become a significant subject interest in recent decades. Stilbenoids are group phenolic found many plant species and they have recently gained the focus multitude studies medicine chemistry, resveratrol being most representative molecule. In this review, we focused on research that illustrates therapeutic potential class considering various diseases with higher incidence rates. PubChem database was searched for bioactivities stilbenoids, while several keywords (i.e., “stilbenoids”, “stilbenoid anticancer”) were used query PubMed relevant studies. diversity simplicity stilbenes’ chemical structures together numerous biological sources key elements can simplify both isolation these drug design novel bioactive molecules. Resveratrol other related heterogeneously distributed plants mainly grapes wine. Natural stilbenes shown possess wide range activities, such antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antihyperglycemic, cardioprotective, neuroprotective, antineoplastic properties. While is widely investigated its benefits disorders, further warranted properly harness less popular stilbenoid compounds.
