Abstract Research suggests that the emotional bond shared with a pet can be particularly significant for those declining physical health, yet little is known about breast cancer survivors’ experiences ownership. The purpose of this study was to explore pet-related including benefits, challenges, and unmet needs. Adults (ages 18 older), diagnosed stages 0 ( in situ )-IV currently primary owner at least one dog or cat 6 months were recruited through treatment support organizations social media outlets. An online, anonymous, cross-sectional, mixed method survey developed included seven open-ended prompts stressors benefits survivors encountered caring during survivorship, as well their advice medical providers other survivors. Background: Breast cancer as the malignant tumor with highest incidence and mortality rate among global female population. Insomnia is a common complaint in breast patients, more than one-third (38–47%) of patients suffer it. Auricular acupressure (AA), non-pharmacological therapy, has been used studies to intervene insomnia patients. The objective this systematic review meta-analysis investigate efficacy safety AA therapy intervening cancer. Methods: A literature search was performed for 10 databases up January 2024 identify randomized control trials (RCTs). methodological quality RCTs assessed independently using Cochrane Handbook Systematic Reviews Interventions. evidence evaluated Grading Recommendations Assessment, Development Evaluation approach. Data were screened extracted predesigned forms. conducted RevMan 5.3 software, P -value < .05 means statistically significant. Results: This included 15 from 3 different countries total 1125 adult participants. pooled results showed that significantly improving sleep (mean difference [MD] = ‐3.36, 95% confidence interval [CI]: [‐4.65, −2.07], .001) life (MD ‐7.82, CI: [‐14.76, ‐0.88], .03). Based on data monitoring devices, valuable efficiency ‐3.63, [‐4.19,-3.07], .03) Adverse events reported 5 RCTs. As the prognosis for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with breast cancer has improved, long-term health-related quality of life (HRQoL) become increasingly important. ObjectiveBreast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) significantly impacts the quality of life (QoL) breast cancer survivors following treatment. This study explores association between kinesiophobia (fear pain caused by movement) and QoL in post-surgical BCRL examines whether self-care compliance with functional exercise act as mediators these variables.MethodsThis cross-sectional surveyed 274 patients at three tertiary hospitals Shenyang City, China, from May 2020 to October 2022. The participants completed self-reported questionnaires on self-care, compliance, kinesiophobia, QoL. Medication analysis was conducted using PROCESS Macro (Model 6).ResultsKinesiophobia found have negative (p < 0.001), 0.001). Kinesiophobia indirectly affected through mediating pathways: (effect = -0.132), -0.390), a combination -0.220), collectively accounting for 7.9%, 23.3%, 13.1% total effect, respectively.ConclusionsThis highlights substantial chain-mediating role relationship It provides valuable evidence supporting protective effects mitigating enhancing survivors.
