Superhydrophobic surfaces demonstrate excellent anti-icing performance under static conditions. However, they show a marked decrease in icing time real flight Here we develop an strategy using ubiquitous wind field to improve the efficiency of superhydrophobic during flight. We find that mass on hierarchical surface with microstructure angle 30° is at least 40% lower than conventional plate, which attributed combined effects microdroplet flow upwelling induced by interfacial airflow and ejection driven characteristic. Meanwhile, disordered arrangement water molecules specific also raises energy barriers required for nucleation, resulting inhibition nucleation process. This movement manipulation expected break through limitation materials service conditions can further reduce risk aircraft surface.
