This article first introduces several different types of coating mechanisms and their application environments, including wear-resistant coatings, anticorrosive waterproof flame-retardant coatings. It then fiber materials used for ropes, carbon fiber, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipe (UHMWPE) aramid steel wire, gives an analysis summary properties applications. Furthermore, the current progress research on these four ropes is discussed in detail. Finally, summarizes deficiencies relevant fields looks forward to future development directions.

This study examined the relationship between filament diameter and microscopic morphology mechanical properties of Fe-based coatings that were successfully created using plasma-enhanced high-speed arc spraying (PE-HAS). The findings indicate SB Coating, which has a wire 1.6 mm, best qualities, wear corrosion resistance, cross-section morphology. outstanding organizational structure coating was responsible for coatings’ stable friction coefficients 0.35, 0.47, 0.49 as well their potentials −1.007 V/SCE, −0.881 −0.989 respectively.
