Abstract Periodontitis is an increasingly prevalent oral inflammatory disease, whose treatment faces potent challenges because of recurrent bacterial infections, excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, as well unrelenting inflammation‐induced alveolar bone resorption during the pathological process. Herein, we present rational design and construction a multifunctional hydrogel platform composed quaternized chitosan/oxidized dextran (QCS/OD) component with high bactericidal activity immunomodulatory carbonized polymer dots from resveratrol (RSV‐CPDs) for periodontitis treatment. Such RSV‐CPDs@QCS/OD (RCQD) hydrogels exhibit characteristics including shape adaptability, self‐healing properties, pH‐responsibility, enabling it to adapt irregularly shaped periodontal tissues, degrade gradually in mildly acidic microenvironment periodontitis, release RSV‐CPDs controlled manner. Significantly, RCQD can effectively suppress proliferation bacteria alleviate oxidative stress, relieve inflammation via activating Nrf2/NF‐κB signaling pathway, ultimately fostering favorable environment regeneration both soft hard tissue. Overall, this study highlights great potential treating by addressing practical needs tissue regeneration.

The majority of patients with androgen-dependent prostate cancer (PCa) develop resistance to hormone therapy after approximately 18-24 months androgen deprivation treatment. During this process, PCa cells progressively lose their sensitivity androgens and evolve into castration-resistant leading uncontrolled tumor growth ultimately the failure endocrine therapy. To potential anti-prostate agents, in study, we identified a novel ether-type arylpiperazine derivative as potent receptor (AR) antagonist, uncovering series effective antiproliferative compounds. derivatives (7, 11, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) demonstrated strong cytotoxicity against cells, 23 showing significant antagonistic activity (Inhibition% >60) robust AR binding affinities. structure-activity relationship (SAR) these developed was discussed based on data. Docking study suggested that compound 19 mainly bind ligand pocket site through Van der Waals' force interactions. This research presents promising lead for developing anticancer agents targeting

Our results indicate that caused decrease EPS (60.5–33.5%), (94.7–64.5%), formation (98.53–55.5%) pathogen PAO1. Violacein decreased 98.1% 62.5% (0.5 v/v %) (2 mM). Moreover, molecular revealed a promising competitive interaction between AHLs. Consequently, this offers valuable insights into potential inhibitors
