Products with antimicrobial properties enhance personal comfort and hygiene by preventing bacterial infections. In this work, we developed an antibacterial hydrophobic coating combining zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) through the electrospinning method, aiming for enhanced cotton surface textile applications. Initially, ZnO were synthesized integrated uniformly within PVDF, characterized various analytical techniques. This study highlights coating's remarkable activity, evidenced a significant inhibition zone diameter of 18 mm against Staphylococcus aureus its hydrophobicity, contact angle 136°. Additionally, it was found that Higuchi model could describe diffusion release from PVDF coating. The obtained result allows us to conclude applying method fabric coatings opens new avenues in design functional textiles, particularly ones, as proved paper.
