Hydrogen and oxygen serve as energy carriers that can ease the transition of due to their high densities. Nonetheless, production processes entail development efficient low-cost storage conversion technologies. In this regard, photoelectrocatalysts are materials based on photoelectronic effect where electrons holes interact with H2O, producing H2 O2, in some cases, is achieved acceptable efficiency.
