This manuscript explores the removal of eosin yellow dye, a toxic color substance contributing to water pollution, from aqueous solutions. For this purpose, iron-zirconia binary oxide (Fe2O3-ZrO2) was functionalized with eugenol oil, natural phenolic aromatic compound extracted clove plant.
