Abstract Solar‐driven interface evaporation is recognized as an efficient and energy‐saving strategy to address the global freshwater crisis. However, challenges such salt crystallization high energy loss of evaporators seriously hinder their practical application. In this study, inspired by natural scallion structure, a 3D layered curled cylindrical photothermal evaporator using copper sulfide (CuS) nickel foam (NF) are constructed, achieving impressive rate up 6.12 kg·m −2 ·h −1 under 1 kW·m solar irradiation. Further analysis reveals that structure reduces heat underlying water, optimizing balance between water transport thermal management. Notably, demonstrated excellent resistance robust desalination durability for 140 h in 20 wt.% NaCl solution, attributed vertical horizontal channels. This work guides design efficient, salt‐resistant solar‐driven seawater wastewater treatment extreme conditions.

Solar-driven water management such as purification via evaporation and condensation has gained increasing attention a promising solution to address the current issues of energy scarcity. Herein, nanocomposite hydrogel incorporating Ag nanoparticle (NP)-loaded boron nanosheets within polyacrylamide matrix was fabricated, which exhibited excellent solar light absorption efficiency photothermal conversion capability. Under simulated 1-sun irradiation, membrane demonstrated an rate 4.572 kg m–2 h–1 when used with seawater (∼3.5 wt % NaCl), cation concentration in desalinated reduced by 3–4 orders magnitude. The membrane's performance is attributed its gradient porous structure different wettability between upper lower surfaces, plasmonic effect NPs, high affinity nanosheets. Additionally, fabricated showed pollutant degradation capability potential applications temperature sensing thermoelectric generation.
