Aiming at the pollution problem of methylene blue dye wastewater, a new type adsorbent magnesium-modified fly ash (Mg@FA) was prepared by using solid waste as raw material. The effects Mg@FA dosage, adsorption time, and concentration on pH values were analyzed. characteristics investigated kinetics, isotherms, thermodynamics, well SEM, EDS, XRD, BET, FTIR. results showed that when dosage 1.0 g, time 120 min, initial 150 mg/L; efficiency highest, which 95.61%. When solution in range 7–11, for remained stable 95.61–98.10%. process follows second-order kinetic fitting model Langmuir model. is spontaneous endothermic reaction. adsorbs through electrostatic interaction hydrogen bonding. can effectively adsorb promote utilization ash, provides promising method wastewater treatment utilization.
