In this paper, a review on the three most important communication techniques (ground, aerial, and underwater vehicles) has been presented that throws light trajectory planning, its optimization, various issues in summarized way. This kind of extensive research is not often seen literature, so an effort made for readers interested path planning to fill gap. Moreover, optimization suitable implementing ground, vehicles are also part review. paper covers numerical, bio-inspired their hybridization with each other dimensions mentioned. The provides consolidated platform, where plenty available on-ground autonomous vehicle extension aerial documented.

Metaheuristics play a critical role in solving optimization problems, and most of them have been inspired by the collective intelligence natural organisms nature. This paper proposes new metaheuristic algorithm gorilla troops' social nature, called Artificial Gorilla Troops Optimizer (GTO). In this algorithm, gorillas' life is mathematically formulated, mechanisms are designed to perform exploration exploitation. To evaluate GTO, we apply it 52 standard benchmark functions seven engineering problems. Friedman's test Wilcoxon rank-sum statistical tests statistically compared proposed method with several existing metaheuristics. The results demonstrate that GTO performs better than comparative algorithms on functions, particularly high-dimensional can provide superior other

The simplicity, transparency, reliability, high efficiency and robust nature of PID controllers are some the reasons for their popularity acceptance control in process industries around world today. Tuning parameters has been a field active research still is. primary objectives to achieve minimal overshoot steady state response lesser settling time. With exception two popular conventional tuning strategies (Ziegler Nichols closed loop oscillation Cohen-Coon's reaction curve) several other methods have employed tuning. This work accords thorough review state-of-the-art classical controller using metaheuristic algorithms. Methods appraised categorized into optimization purposes. Details algorithms, application, equations implementation flowcharts/algorithms presented.
