Abstract Analytical chemistry research has shifted towards environmentally friendly substitutes that reduce waste and avoid hazardous substances. These efforts align with broader environmental goals inspire sustainable responsible science. The objective of this work is to develop validate an analytical method verify its greenness using specific tools, including GREEnness (AGREE), metric for sample preparation (AGREEprep), green procedure index, complex Eco-Scale, volume intensity, score, HPLC-EAT (Environmental Assessment Tool). Effective treatment chronic cough relies heavily on adequately utilizing salbutamol (SAL) guaifenesin (GUA) in the presence sodium benzoate (SOB) preservative. isocratic elution mode used Zorbax Eclipse Plus C18 column (15 cm × 4.6 mm, 3.5 µm). It could move 1.5 mL·min −1 , hold 50 µL, have a temperature 30°C, autosampler 5°C. detect UV light at 276 nm had mobile phase 80:20 v/v buffer solution acetonitrile. We successfully established highly accurate calibration curves three components SAL, GUA, SOB within optimal range 2–50 µg·mL . coefficient correlation ( r ) these was impressive 0.9999 SAL while it 0.9998 SOB. recovery values were 100.15%, 100.47%, 100.92% SOB, respectively. selectivity sensitivity ingredients confirmed according International Council Harmonisation guidelines, as no interference occurred from any components. implemented Six Sigma, resulting precision productivity.
