Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have become the focus of rapid research due to their unique optical and electronic properties. There has been a noticeable increase in papers relating AuNPs, with over 71,000 publications between 2019 2024. AuNPs possess exceptional stability, low resistance, high conductivity, extensive light interaction, making them well-suited for biological sensing applications. This literature study begins by examining different approaches synthesizing including chemical, physical, methods, before exploring use as biosensors. A comprehensive examination various detection localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), luminescence, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), (SPR), electrochemical properties, is facilitated through an exploration fundamental principles classification We primarily on using medical diagnostics, highlighting current advancements disease AuNPs-based biosensors conditions like COVID-19, dengue fever, diabetes. The review emphasizes achievements synthesis bright prospects biocompatible efficient biosensor

Tribulus terrestris is a member of the family Zygophyllaceae commonly known as “puncture vine”. The plant has been used traditionally an analgesic and to relieve rheumatic pain, eye problems, sexual dysfunction edema. aim this work was test use T. fruit extract reducing agent in synthesizing gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), their biological activities, assess suitability therapeutic by testing them for potential adverse effects on human cells. Indeed, we have performed most comprehensive AuNPs produced using extracts date. aqueous dried powdered fruits reduction hydrogen tetrachloroaurate (III) trihydrate (AuCl4·3H2O). extract's phytochemical components effectively served reducing, capping stabilizing agents, resulting production consistent round-shaped with size range less than 100 nm. synthesized were subjected various physicochemical analyses, then evaluated antibacterial, antifungal antileishmanial activity, hemagglutination, cytotoxicity antioxidant bioassays. showed inhibition zones against several bacterial fungal strains, exhibited activity at high doses. demonstrated positive hemagglutination Red Blood Cells (RBCs) blood groups A B 10 20 µg/mL, but no AB O up 40 µg/mL. RBCs suggesting that they may be suitable clinical setting. 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay, results indicated potential.
