The rational design of the D-π-A chemodosimeter with a significant Stokes shift is great importance for enhancing visualization optical sensing signals. Here, three fluorescent chemodosimeters 2-(3-cyano-4,5,5-trimethylfuran-2(5H)-ylidene) malononitrile (TCF) as electron-withdrawing group are synthesized by precisely modulating electron-releasing strength. By decreasing ability electron release, electrophilicity recognition site increased 1.449 kcal/mol, improved to 201 nm, and mode changes from fluorescence quenching ratiometric finally on. Furthermore, display superior performance toward ClO-, including low limits detection (LOD, 37.0, 5.1, 1.0 nM), rapid response (<5 s), selectivity in presence 16 kinds interferents. Moreover, practicality further validated portable triple-standard quantitative array platform, which can quantitatively detect ClO- solutions. proposed modulation strategy provide new pathway sensitive visualized identification oxidants other hazardous chemicals.

The sensitive detection of the radioactive thorium (Th) ion with an oxidation state +4 (Th4+) is great significance for environmental protection and life safety. In this study, five fluorescence sensors regulated donor-acceptor (D-A) interactions were constructed Th4+ based on intramolecular charge transfer aggregation-induced emission mechanisms. Among developed sensors, TPE-D bearing electron-deficient π-bridge weak D-A presented ratiometric behavior toward in aqueous solution due to its characteristics unique D-A-D structures. Moreover, showed excellent selectivity sensitivity detection, limit was as low 8.1 × 10-8 M. sensing mechanism observation revealed that could coordinate hydroxyl, imine, carbonyl groups accompanied by electron process. addition, selectively be enriched lysosome. Both lysosome liver mice zebrafish realized strategy, a mobile-assisted approach actual water samples also established high sensitivity. This first report organelles organs, which provides reliable strategy radionuclide toxicology analysis applications.

To address the challenges of precise identification and real-time monitoring hazardous chemicals, this work proposes develops surface-plasmon-enhanced dual spectroscopies (SPEDS). This technique combines highly recognizable surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) with plasmon-mediated differential ultraviolet-visible (P-DUS). The feasibility is demonstrated by successfully acquiring SPEDS signals thiourea a plasmonic gold colloidal system. By combining machine learning algorithms, we achieve accurate quantification accuracies 98.2 98.6%, respectively, significantly outperforming single P-DUS (63.2 95.1%) SERS (80.3 86.5%). Additionally, demonstrate universality expandability through other nanostructures various shapes surface modifications. Using CuS-coated Au nanoarray, multiple 8-h sessions Hg2+ good anti-interference robust quantification, thereby highlighting practical potential in real-world applications. These results position as cutting-edge multifunctional chemical sensing platform, unlocking transformative possibilities for advancing environmental monitoring, industrial safety, public health.
