The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) promotes sustainable development in the participating countries by facilitating technology transfer, talent development, industrial upgrading. Technological cooperation under BRI plays a crucial role helping these achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, also faces significant challenges, including geopolitical, economic, social, environmental, legal risks. This paper reviews current research on technological cooperation, covering models, influencing factors, mechanisms, economic social impacts of such cooperation. It examines both opportunities challenges involved provides policy recommendations action plans. review offers valuable insights for researchers interested contributes to advancing countries.

Investment and construction of energy transport-related infrastructure are closely linked to the achievement sustainable development goals. China's infrastructure-led foreign investment, technical integration, tourism with Belt Road Initiative (BRI) countries have maintained exponential growth. This growth certainly has an impact on economic mode environmental sustainability. Therefore, this study examines Chinese outward direct development, technology innovation carbon emissions across selected BRI node respective regions. employs cross-sectional autoregressive distributive lag model deal parameters heterogeneity. The results exhibit that investment reduces in long run, while its interaction led higher overall sample. In contrast, regional estimates show significant variations magnitude direction relationship, where produces emissions-increasing effect South Asian MENA countries. Moreover, support validity Environmental Kuznets Curve hypothesis samples. These also endorsed by common correlated effects means group estimator imply relevant policies.

The recent decades have witnessed an unprecedented surge in global warming occasioned by human anthropogenic activities. ensuing effects brought devastating threats to existence and the ecosystem, with sustainability of future generations highly uncertain. Resolving this pervasive issue requires evidence-based policy implications. To end, study contributes ongoing sustainable development advocacy investigating impacts renewable energy transport services on economic growth Germany. additional roles digital technology, FDI, carbon emissions are equally evaluated using data periods covering 1990 2020 within autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) framework. results show cointegration among variables. Additionally, positively drive growth. Furthermore, is stimulated other explanatory variables, such as technology emissions. These outcomes robust for both long-run short-run periods. More so, departures long run noted heed corrections at average 60% speed adjustment. estimated models confirmed be valid based postestimation tests. Policy implications that support path highlighted findings.

The asymmetric impact of technological innovation on carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions in South Africa from 1960 to 2020 is evaluated this study. We apply the newly established quantile autoregressive distributed lag (QARDL) methodology deal with distributional asymmetry based location CO within its own distribution. This distinguishes our analysis earlier studies following way. In contrast other studies, research uses QARDL technique assess long-term stability across quantiles, resulting a more adaptable econometric than traditional frameworks. order capture trade share Africa’s GDP and quantity compared world trade, we employ novel measure openness. find that 1) helps reduce short term over long term; 2) scale effect worsens emissions, whereas enhances it, supporting existence an environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis; 3) energy consumption, foreign direct investment (FDI), industrial added value degrade quality; 4) increasing openness glaringly harmful environment term, despite being beneficial 5) there are long-term, linkages between effect, innovation, use, FDI, openness; 6) value-added, technical usage, Granger-cause medium, long, terms indicate significance these variables determining emissions. Based empirical findings, study makes case government policymakers should consider importance innovative technologies as sustainable source advancements attaining security promoting ecological integrity nation.

Leveraging e-government development to improve all aspects of governance has become a shared vision governments in the digital age. However, internal mechanism for promote is ambiguous, and extent which affects remains uncertain. Drawing on public value theory, this study analyzes behind global promoting improvement. To determine realistic effects improvement, empirical test included 170 countries covered observations from 2010 2018. Results linear panel data analysis showed that promoted improvement as whole. Specifically, different dimensions were heterogeneous: E-government performs strong positive four voice accountability, government effectiveness, regulatory quality rule law, but relatively weak political stability absence violence/terrorism control corruption. These results indicate certain gap between reality using comprehensively governance. This provided insights into future trends priorities e-government.
