This study investigates the impact of renewable and non-renewable energy sources on carbon emissions in context China's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025). The plan emphasises a "Dual-control" strategy simultaneously setting consumption limits reducing intensity for GDP (gross domestic product) order to meet targets five-year plan. Using comprehensive dataset Chinese macroeconomic information spanning from 1990 2022, we conduct Granger causality analysis explore relationship between level air pollution. Our findings reveal unidirectional link, wherein contributes reduction pollution, while lead an increase. Despite government's investment energy, our results show that economy remains heavily reliant traditional (e.g., fossil fuels). research is first systematic examination interplay usage context. provide valuable insights policy market strategies aimed at promoting neutrality driving technological advancements both government industries.

This paper investigates the impact of energy security risk (ESR) on economic stability. Using multiple global datasets, we provide empirical evidence from an unbalanced panel 68 countries spanning over a period 1980 to 2021. Our results indicate that high ESR reduces GDP growth rate (GDPG) perspective. In robustness tests, this effect remains valid across several specifications based non-U.S. samples, national income-level, alternative measure stability, and set endogeneity tests propensity score matching estimation. Countries with pre-existing low GDPG mainly suffer heightened insecurity. Numerous country-specific institutional quality estimates. Finally, damaging worsens during years inflation, geopolitical acts, as well escalated war threats. We encourage international collaborations develop more sustainable system, which enhances supply stability economy.

This paper investigates the asymmetric effects of climate policy uncertainty (CPU) and global price energy index (GPEI) on Bitcoin prices. It applies nonlinear ARDL method Granger causality test to examine how changes in prices influence Using monthly data CPU, GPEI, BTC from 2013M10–2021M12, findings show that CPU's increases GPEI's decreases positively affect short term. Specifically, CPU increase decrease significantly higher long The result shows bidirectional between increases/decreases, while unidirectional runs increases/decreases BTC. These suggest investors should be aware risks associated with fluctuations prices, as these factors can asymmetrically impact
