Abstract This study investigates how uncertainty in climate and global economic policies affects private investment sub‐Saharan Africa (SSA). Using panel data from 41 countries over the period 2000–2022, employs a dynamic model to estimate effects of these two types on investment‐to‐gross domestic product ratio. The finds that both policy (EPU) have negative significant influence investment, implying higher levels discourage investors undertaking long‐term projects sub‐region. also effect is stronger than EPU, suggesting are more sensitive lack clarity coherence framework. findings robust different estimation techniques. concludes reducing uncertainty, especially area change, crucial for enhancing promoting sustainable development SSA.

ABSTRACT Green technology innovations such as fintech and green finance have emerged comprehensive drivers to deal with environmental issues foster sustainable development even during unforeseeable events. In this regard, study explores the dynamics of Shanghai crude oil futures, Chinese Renminbi, SE Composite Index, Hang Seng TECH geopolitical risks, carbon markets from March 26, 2018, July 3, 2023. It accounts for major economic disruptions, COVID‐19 pandemic conflict between Russia Ukraine, illustrating how these sectors enabled more effective monitoring analysis complex financial ecosystems. Findings reveal a high level interconnectedness, particularly Russia‐Ukraine conflict, utilizing Vector Autoregression (VAR) method assessing market linkages toward development. Further through wavelet coherence DCC GARCH models underscores effectiveness futures hedging instrument substantial resilience shocks. These insights imply crucial implications regulators, suggesting need strict cross‐market risks advising against use by stock investors tool.
