We compare usefulness these predicting migration into three neighboring countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary. To minimize challenge temporal misalignment between actual movement, develop lagging aggregation framework. Findings reveal Trends variables are robust leading indicator observed for conflict. While other less strong, they still capture shifts flows, highlighting potential during emerging displacement crises.
