The advancement of the big data industry is playing a pivotal role in urban land management refinement. Recently, China initiated strategy, establishing national comprehensive pilot zones (NBDCPZs) across diverse regions. These initiatives present substantial opportunities for enhancing green use efficiency (ULGUE). Consequently, this study, we utilized super-efficiency slack-based measure (SBM) model with undesirable outputs to assess ULGUEs 281 prefecture-level cities from 2006 2021. Subsequently, leveraging NBDCPZ establishment as quasi-natural experiment, employed difference-in-differences (DID) method empirically explore impact policy on ULGUE first time. findings revealed following: (1) implementation significantly enhances ULGUE; (2) effects are mediated through mechanisms such fostering technological innovation, mitigating resource misallocation, and promoting industrial agglomeration; (3) heterogeneity analysis emphasizes increased effectiveness characterized by fewer natural resources, lower economic growth pressures, stable development stages, moderate digital infrastructure human capital levels; (4) further demonstrates significant positive spillover neighboring non-pilot cities, diminishing proximity between decreases. Overall, study contributes literature relationship economy utilization, offering valuable insights achieving sustainable development.

Addressing the challenges posed by climate change has led to a global consensus on adopting various environmentally sustainable practices, especially those aimed at reducing carbon emissions. Simultaneously, role of digital innovation (DI) is increasingly recognized as potential driver for corporate sustainability transformation in current wave era. To investigate environmental benefits DI, this study examines impact DI emission intensity (CE) through lens dynamic capability view (DCV). Based sample manufacturing companies listed Chinese Stock "A" market over period 2010-2020, empirical results show that and CE are negatively correlated. Furthermore, governance (CG) managerial ability (MA) significantly enhance these relationships. The framework presented provides new perspectives evidence drives firms' reduction targets.

Purpose New quality productive forces (NQPF) are critical for high-quality economic development. As digital mergers and acquisitions (M&As) gain prominence in corporate transformation, understanding their impact on NQPF is essential. This study explores whether M&As enhance firms identifies key mechanisms that drive this effect. Design/methodology/approach investigates the of using a multi-period difference-in-difference (DID) methodology. Analyzing sample Chinese listed from 2011 to 2021, how contribute NQPF, identifying firm innovation data assets as mechanisms. It also examines external factors, such industrial structure, urban human capital policy uncertainty, moderate effect NQPF. Findings The reveals three findings: (1) Digital significantly NQPF; (2) serve through which (3) including amplify positive effects Practical implications Firms should leverage strategic tool improving focusing assets. This paper analyzes the relationships between inclusive leadership, team knowledge acquisition, sharing, digital tools usage and ambidexterity. Design/methodology/approach conducted a questionnaire survey high-tech manufacturing enterprises in China obtained 75 leader questionnaires 365 employee questionnaires. hypotheses were tested using hierarchical cross-level regressions. Findings indicates that leadership improves acquisition sharing. However, only sharing significantly boosts ambidexterity, not acquisition.
