Changes in climate policy are posing enormous challenges to carbon markets. However, the intricate link and time-frequency features between uncertainty (CPU) emission price (CEP) have not been extensively explored current literature. This paper aims reveal dynamic relationship two under different time frequencies quantiles by using a wavelet-based quantile-on-quantile regression (QQR) method. Nine sets of variable pairs with various temporal constructed, such as short-term CPU long-term CEP. The results demonstrate that their coefficients would change from positive negative or irrelevant, conversely, frequencies. China has global focus an interesting case since its relentless efforts towards addressing constructing market, which makes one contributions this paper. Additionally, combined employed explore connection CEP, revealing nonlinear asymmetric variables, enriching theoretical influencing mechanisms. Therefore, government should avoid drastic changes, make full use guidance effect. Besides, top-design market-oriented reforms for market needed.
