University–industry (U–I) collaborations are widely recognized as key drivers of economic progress, innovation, and competitiveness, fostering significant scholarly interest. Concurrently, research findings on these interactions have contributed to the establishment an interdisciplinary field marked by inherent complexity relationships. This study aims map conceptual structure university–industry knowledge transfer (UIKT) from 1980 2023 employing co-word analysis social network based data retrieved Scopus database. The results reveal that 1577 documents were published during this period, incorporating 147 keywords, with five most frequent being “innovation”, “higher education”, “university”, “technology transfer”, “knowledge management”. United Kingdom was identified prolific country, contributing 366 documents, while Research Policy emerged cited journal, 3546 citations. offers a comprehensive overview current state UIKT research, paving way for future studies providing valuable directions further investigations.

ABSTRACT The availability of public and social goods is vital for development in emerging economies, yet its effect on new business formation remains ambiguous. This study, grounded theory, investigates how increased investment influences formation, with digitalization innovation linkages serving as mediators. Using Driscoll‐Kraay (DK) standard errors a two‐step system GMM, the model tested panel data from 38 Asian countries (2011–2022). findings support theoretical framework, demonstrating that facilitates when integrated digital infrastructure linkages. Further analysis by income group reveals low‐income face resource constraints impede hubs, thereby limiting formation. study suggests strategic hubs crucial fostering entrepreneurship promoting sustainable economic growth.
