This paper uses data from Chinese ICT-listed firms 2012 to 2022 and employs a difference-in-differences model empirically examine the impact of Sino-US trade friction on firm total factor productivity (TFP). Amid the global wave of digital transformation, advancing sustainable growth real economy has emerged as a key strategic priority. Drawing on panel data from 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China (excluding Tibet, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan) between 2013 2021, this study utilizes fixed effects mediation effect models to investigate both direct indirect pathways through which drives development economy. Digital infrastructure, serving as the fundamental carrier of data elements, allows China to balance economic growth with reduced carbon intensity, opening new pathways for sustainable development globally.
