This study investigates the consequences of digital transformation (DT) over performance in case innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). SMEs represent a heterogeneous kind company terms capabilities. By focusing on their character as boundary condition, we increase our understanding this relationship. We further research mediating role business model innovation (BMI) relationship between DT performance. A sample 434 Spanish is used to test through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). find that BMI partially mediates positive finding extends an alignment tool blueprint for channeling investments towards improvement Finally, put forward managerial implications propose future avenues research.

Abstract Despite the increasing interest in understanding relations between firms' digitalization and their environmental sustainability, they are still poorly understood as research on this hot topic is nascent empirical evidence sparse fragmented. In study, we delve into different digital data‐driven technologies (DTs) used for gathering storing (smart devices cloud computing), analyzing (Big Data Artificial Intelligence), sharing data (Blockchain) sustainability micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs). These firms, despite relevance business landscape heterogeneity, understudied area. Thus, also examine moderating role of firm size to understand inherent diversity MSMEs use DTs development oriented practices. Empirical results from a large‐scale representative sample European show that adoption analysis positively associated with sustainability‐oriented actions MSMEs. The findings reveal positive size: stronger larger MSMEs, latter being significant only medium‐sized enterprises.

The increasing adoption of digital technologies is revolutionising healthcare professionals' activities. These generate large amounts data that can be used by big analytics (BDA) to extract knowledge that, if properly utilized, may support the decision-making process and ultimately improve quality services. Although hospitals have been investing in BDA technological resources, it seems service has not always improved. In recent years academic literature highlighted relevance capabilities improving organizations' performance, but their role organizations overlooked. purpose this study empirically investigate relationship between resources It also aims determine whether presence underlying mechanism explains effect on 173 responses from Italian professionals were collected investigated via lens Resource-Based View theory using PLS-SEM methodology. results show pivotal deploying services thus need for further investment capabilities.

Drawing on the resource-based theory of firm, contingency theory, and consumer behavioral theories, we investigate extent to which green marketing—green products, pricing, distribution, promotion—influences performance small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) how contextual factors (for example, economic sector, development, national global sustainable competitiveness, culture) influence this focal relationship. We analyzed 106 studies with 47,661 observations 195 study effect sizes using a psychometric meta-analysis approach via subgroup meta-regression analyses. Our results reveal that marketing has positive, moderate overall firm SMEs most critical antecedent is promotion, while indicator largely influenced by innovation performance. moderator analysis shows significantly marketing/SME relationships. The concludes theoretical managerial implications these findings.
