Research background: Despite the increased interest in business model innovation (BMI) last 20 years, current research landscape still lacks empirical efforts aimed at investigating underexplored link between BMI and performance. This is doubly true specific contexts like Central European countries, whereas systems are weaker than Western ones, firms strongly depend on internal R&D activities absorptive capacity technology upgrades via cooperation with other countries. Purpose of article: study draws theory aim analyzing effects each individual element firms’ performance terms creation radical innovations vs incremental ones. Methods: The data used from Community Innovation Survey (CIS) 2018 — latest micro available to date focusing 16,364 Europe, namely 5,749 Czech, 7,377 Hungarian, 3,238 Slovakian firms. As explained (dependent) variables dichotomous (binary: 1 indicates answer yes, 0 no) for all estimated models, a binary logistic regression order focus elements representing analyse their separated Europe. Individual are: methods, logistics, communication, accounting, external relations, human resource management, marketing. Moreover, we check control such as tax credits allowances R&D, public funding innovation, organizations or activities, in-house contracted out lack finance, skilled employees financial resources, size. Findings & value added: For innovators, practices organising procedures relations important. methods work responsibility, decision making, management significant. Surprisingly, regardless radicality, several suggests that managers should enhance strategic collaborations partners exploit capacity, increase knowledge experience employees, whilst policymakers keep providing maintaining supportive infrastructure reducing administrative burdens.

This article explores the intricate relationship between digital transformation and non-financial performance in Central Eastern European (CEE) countries. As these nations navigate complexities of post-communist economic landscapes, role digitalization emerges as a pivotal factor influencing various dimensions organizational beyond mere financial outcomes. In this framework, our research aims to analyze ways which (as proxied by DESI) impacts range metrics (ESG) order furnish thorough comprehension interplay within specific context CEE With data collected over an 11-year timeframe, we performed panel analysis, relying on robust regression. The main findings indicate that profoundly environmental (CO2 emissions, renewable energy consumption), social (ratio female-to-male labor force participation rate, unemployment) governance (government effectiveness) countries, although effects vary significantly across different regions. highlight potential areas for policy emphasis, particularly relation reducing CO2 improving regulatory quality, advancing integration connectivity. disparities identified may inform targeted strategies aimed at uplifting underperforming regions, thereby contributing enhanced growth sustainability.

The rapid proliferation of digital technologies across industries has created significant opportunities for enterprises, yet a comprehensive and integrated review technology diffusion (DTD) at the firm level remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by systematically analyzing 87 research articles published between 1993 June 2024 in top-tier management business journals (ranked A* or A ABDC-JQL 2022), sourced from Web Science database. Employing hybrid methodology that combines bibliometric framework-based reviews, provides overview existing on firm-level DTD. By leveraging established theories, contexts, methods, antecedents, decisions, outcomes (TCM-ADO) framework, we consolidate fragmented insights propose future directions. pioneers application TCM-ADO framework to DTD, offering novel taxonomy advances theoretical development.
