Going green: predicting tourists' intentions to stay at eco-friendly hotels – the roles of green attitude and environmental concern

Purpose By anchoring on the ability-motivation-opportunity (AMO) framework, this research aims to examine effect of tourists' green ability, motivation and opportunity access information digital media platforms (green AMO) their intention stay at hotels. The study also tests moderating role environmental concern mediating attitude in relationship. Design/methodology/approach An online survey was conducted large Facebook groups by an international tour operator March 2022. Through convenience sampling, 600 responses were collected from local tourists. Partial least squares structural equation modeling performed validate model. Findings results reveal that hotels is positively affected AMO through indirect direct channels. Specifically, indirectly effects raising attitude. indicate moderated concern. Role of Media in enhancing Pro-Environmental Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior

Pakistan is facing a multitude of problems but environmental challenges are amongst the most pressing issues country. In this situation, it imperative that youth country should know how to face these challenges. The aim present research was explore levels pro-environmental knowledge, attitude, and behavior as well focusing on impact media in regard. adopted quantitative survey method data from 476 male female university students residing Islamabad analyzed. Findings study revealed although educated possessed considerable knowledge about environment, yet not turning into actions were significantly below par. With regard role observed influence traditional lower than social which found have an attitude behaviour youth. Further, findings also showed there no difference between males females however with adopting behavior, be ahead males.
