Background
and
aim:
Research
on
international
students
conducted
during
the
COVID‐19
pandemic
has
persistently
highlighted
vulnerabilities
challenges
that
they
experienced
when
staying
in
host
country
to
continue
with
their
studies.
The
findings
from
such
research
can
inevitably
create
a
negative
image
of
ability
respond
unprecedented
times.

descriptive
qualitative
design

constructivist

theory

digital
learning
platform.
Nineteen
in‐depth

online
interviews
using
an
interview
guide.
Verbatim
transcripts
analyzed
constant
comparison
analysis.
Results:
Three
themes
emerged
collected
data
described
participants’
experiences,

education
as
pursuit

life,

focusing
personal
growth,
(3)
coming
out
ashes
we
rise.
Discussion:

Abstract
Objectives
This
study
explores
and
describes
the
lived
experiences
of
international
nursing
students
regarding
studying
challenges.
Methods

qualitative
descriptive
