Abstract Mono ‐ and bis ‐pyridinium, phosphonium sulfonium allylic salts, containing adamantane fragment, have been obtained from the substitution reaction in 1,4‐dibromo‐2‐butene. It was found, that attack of triethylamine undergoes sterically less hindered side, leading to deprotonation subsequent elimination molecular fragment with formation a new salt diene structure. Quantum chemical calculations were used confirm structure one products by correlation analysis experimental calculated NMR data confirmed s‐cisoid conformation diene. dienes may be as substrates Diels‐Alder despite their high sterical hinderance.
