Abstract
We
have
reported
an
effective,
metal
free,
one‐pot
methodology
for
synthesising
benzofuro[3,2‐
c
]quinolines
via
a
Pictet‐Spengler
reaction
under
mild
conditions
in
open
air.
Our
approach
has
few
advantages
over
the
traditional
two‐component
synthesis
as
it
is

and
atom
economic,
environmentally
benign
convergent
synthetic
method.
